IPSY FLASH SALES

 Every Tuesday, Ipsy does a Flash sale with products from the current month.  Two weeks ago it was this NYX set; which included two eyeshadows in Lavish and Moonshine, a baked blush in Ignite and a Butter Lipstick in Sugar Wafer.  The whole set was $15.  Just another perk of having an Ipsy account.

Last weeks flash sale contained Be A Bombshell eyeshadows, blush and lip gloss.

Wednesday LOVES...

I ran into Walgreens looking for the Elf Ariel makeup line.  I did not find the complete set but this is one of the items you can purchase.

I picked up a new mascara and yes, a lot of the reason was because of the cute packaging!  I love the little panda on the packaging!  I also picked up another Elephant lip gloss in cherry for $1 and this little LA Colors set for 50 cents.

On my want list for a palette this month is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar.  I would love to own it and need to start saving for it.  It is $49 but I think I can get it on HSN for $29.

On my wish list for lipsticks this month are the Too Faced Melted lipsticks.  How cute are these?  i want them in every color! OF COURSE!

Memebox is not a subscription box service but they do sell boxes with themes from Korea with products from their cosmetics lines.  I ordered my first one today - a Naked box which means that it showed me everything that was in it before I purchased.  I cannot wait to try the bling Cream, face mask, eyeliners, and lip gloss.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

My Lip Factory finally arrived on the last possible day of May.  Lip Factory is a monthly box that has a variety of makeup even though it does say Lip Factory.  They do several just lip boxes a year but this one was a variety box.

"Spring has Sprung" is the theme of this month's box.  It is a super pretty month too!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Blush Me! Boxed Blush - This is super cute - the packaging, the little blush brush and the color.  One of my favorite things in this month's box. LOVE!

Medusa's Makeup: eyeshadow (Tarzan) - Love this shade of eyeshadow - perfect for me.  It is glittery and love that it is cruelty free. LOVE!

NCLA Nailing Hollywood Nail Wraps - This is probably my least favorite thing in the batch - I think I would have liked it had it been a different color or pattern.  They are a nude color and not something I would pick out even though I like nudes. DISLIKE!

Pari Beauty Lipstick(Pinky Promise) -  I really like this lipstick - it is a shade I would wear - not too bold or bright and more of a nude color.  Lipsticks and lipglosses are my favorite thing to get in a box so this is a win for me. LOVE!

Teeez Trendy Cosmetics Golden Glow Lip Goss (Classy Champagne) - This is my favorite thing in this month's box - it is a cute package in a great color and I will be putting it right in my lip stick purse bag.   The box says it is non sticky and hydrating.  Love this brand! LOVE!

This was a great month for Lip Monthly and I loved it!

A pair of sunglasses, two tubes of lotion, an urban decay eye pallet, a planner, a wallet, a flower bag with essentials like band-aids and tylenol, a lip bag of makeup (mostly lip glosses), a purple nail kit, an Eiffel tower note book, and a love bag for small items I do not want to get lost in my big purse.

WHATS IN THE BOX?

My first month with Lip Factory was a big success!  Lip Factory comes at the end of the month and is $22 a month.  They do have a Lip box that comes out at certain times but the majority of their box is a mix of makeup items.

And they wrapped the nail polish to protect it:

Jessie's Girl - (dark brown) I love that this eyeliner pencil has a sharpener in the lid!  How inventive!

Be a Bombshell  (eye shadow crayon in fetish) - this a really pretty purple:

Color Club  (nail polish in Earthy Angel) - I like this nude nail polish.

Be a Bombshell  (eyeshadow in tempted) - neutral brown color that I will use all of!

OFRA (lipstick in 109) Again, the perfect shade for me, this is a nude lipstick - so glad this box listens to the quiz they make you do when subscribing.

NYX butter gloss ( lip gloss in creme brule) another perfect shade that I love and will wear all of till it's empty:

 So my first Lip Factory box matched my tastes perfectly and I am happy I grabbed this subscription.  Next to Ipsy, it is my favorite. 

Why Maybelline is my fave drugstore brand!

My absolute favorite thing about Maybelline is the price!  Most of their prices are under $10 and the products are great quality.  

My favorite lipstick from Maybelline is their Color Whisper line - smooth, great color lipstick - huge fan!  

My fave primer right now is their Baby Skin.  I prefer it to high end ones like Smashbox:

I am using their Age Rewind Eraser to fight the dark circles under my eyes:

My favorite blush right now is their Dream Bouncy blush - I need to get this in every shade!  And because it won't break the bank, I can!

And last, but certainly not least, their mascara - award winning for years!!  Love Great Lash!

Hautelook Lip Beauty Bag

 When I saw this featured on Hautelook, I knew it was for me!  I am obsessed with stuff for the lips - my sister is the eye person and I am a lip person!  Perfect bag for me!

This cute little bag came carrying it all!  I will probably upgrade and put this in my purse as my new makeup bag - mostly lipsticks!

This is a very clever gadget from Swoon - A no more lost gloss wand!  It can be used inside lip glosses to get that last bit of gloss out - no wasted gloss!  Love this!

 Laura Geller lipstick in a swirly coffee color - perfect for me!

These Mirenesse Glossy Kiss and Lip Bomb are worth the price I paid for the whole bag!  They are fantastic!

And the bag would not have been complete without a lip gloss by Lorac!  Love this gloss color!

Also in the bag, you would expect to find a nice lip pencil and here it is:

And of course a lip liner pencil to line the lips - by NYX - a favorite brand of mine!

Finishing out the collection is a lipstick holder with mirror in a nice red color.

Super value for the $32 I spent on this with shipping and handling!

BB5: SHADES OF BEAUTY

WHATS IN THE BOX?

New Beauty Box 5 came today.
 The theme is Shades of Beauty.

It came with Jergen's Natural glow samples, a Bonne Belle lip liner, BH cosmetics California eye shadows, Blum cleansing wipes and Nicka K New York hydro lipstick.

The lotion samples are for medium to dark skin so I will be passing them on.  The lip liner was not my usual shade so it too will be go in the donate box.  But I loved the lipstick - perfect shade for me.  I also loved the little thing of cleansing wipes for my purse.  ANd the California eye shadows are fun!

Sephora Second trip!

So the next trip to Sephora was not quite as good in the sample department but still fun to shop in that store.
The Sephora pallet is amazing!! Love the colors and very shimmery. The Tarte lipstick is very fun.  Wish I had bought it in both shades.  The two are almost the same shade.  Got a sample of the buxom foundation with my purchase and loved them.  Will use all the face serum tool.

I also joined the online Sephora club with their buyers card so everything I purchase online earns me points too.  Ordered this foot creme and it really works for helping with cracked heals.
